• Personal Identification Data: Full name, Email address, Phone number, and unique system-generated Account Number (e.g., ES-XXXXXXXXXX).
• Financial & Payment Data: Transaction histories, amounts, generated transaction references, and Zimswitch/mobile money (EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks, O'mari) account identifiers strictly necessary for disbursement. We do not store full credit card numbers or PINs.
• Device & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and platform interaction analytics to improve our application.

We use the collected information for various purposes, including:

• Facilitating secure escrow transactions between buyers and sellers.
• Processing payments, payouts, and managing your EscrowZW digital balance.
• Resolving disputes and providing customer support.
• Protecting our platform against fraudulent activities and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.
• Sending you transaction updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.

3. Data Protection and Security

We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

• Authentication: We use secure JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and encrypted passwords to secure your account sessions.

• Service Providers: We share transaction references with Paynow and allied mobile money operators (EcoCash, OneMoney, etc.) to securely process your payments.

• Dispute Resolution: Pertinent contact information may be shared securely with the opposite party in a transaction solely for the purpose of dispute mediation if escalated.
